Brendan Murtagh![]() Brendan Murtagh completed a Bachelor of Music majoring in Piano at The University of Queensland, graduating with honours in 2008. He studied with renowned concert pianist, Max Olding. Brendan is a sought-after accompanist throughout South East Queensland and performs regularly with Voices of Birralee and various school choirs. He is on staff at the Young Conservatorium of Queensland, and is rehearsal accompanist for The Univeristy of Queensland Chorale. During the Brisbane seasons of Chicago and Cats, Brendan enjoyed many acclaimed performances. He is currently the Director of Music and resident organist at Holy Family Parish. His continually growing choral experience includes being a founding and active member of chamber choir Sola Voce, which had a highly successful tour of Europe in 2006. Brendan enjoys teaching piano at Clayfield College and playing restaurant music on weekends. |
