Kerry Nian is a conductor, concert piano accompanist, instrumental coach, and teacher in piano and theory. She studied Piano at University of Queensland (Honours), followed by Masters in Conducting at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, under the tutelage of Mats Nielssen, and Prof. John Hopkins.

Kerry was the Head of Music Studies at the Orange Regional Conservatorium. She worked as the music director for Sydney Mandolin Orchestra, official accompanist for Sydney McDonald’s Challenge, Cherrybrook Primary School, Australian Youth Choir, and a repetiteur for Operaworks.

Currently she teaches Piano and Music Theory at Brisbane Girls Grammar School, and conducts a successful music studio in Southside. Kerry is the official accompanist for Eisteddfods, UQ School of Music, and Queensland Wind and Brass Competition. She regularly performs as a concert piano accompanist for tertiary music exams, high school music extension programs, AUSTA, ANCA, Flute Guild, and AMEB exams.
