Kristie has enjoyed playing the piano for over 20 years. In 2007 she graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Music in piano performance with first class honours, earning the University Medal. Apart from classical music, Kristie enjoys playing other genres including crossover jazz, gospel and contemporary Christian music. She is an active soloist, chamber musician and accompanist, and has travelled around Australia and in the South Pacific sharing her music.

In 2009 Kristie graduated from a Master of Music Therapy, and currently works with older adults with dementia and children with disabilities, enabling her clients the opportunity for social interaction, emotional expression, physical development and reminiscence through music. In her spare time, Kristie teaches piano to children and adults, and accompanies soloists for exams and concerts.

Kristie has had over 10 years experience accompanying vocal groups, from quartets to chamber groups and larger choirs. She has accompanied Brisbane Adventist Voices, a chamber choir with an evangelistic focus, since its conception in 2006. She has also enjoyed accompanying Choral Connection with its challenging and diverse repertoire, since the beginning of 2010.
