Kylie Los

Kylie Los graduated from the Queensland University of Technology in 2002 with a Bachelor of Music (Piano Performance). In 2006, she completed her Master of Music under the direction of the late John Dingle.

In 2005, Kylie was a repetiteur for the Brisbane Powerhouse’s productions of Gianni Schicchi and The Telephone. In November 2006, she studied Italian at the Istituto Il David in Florence (after receiving a scholarship from the Italian Institute of Culture in Sydney).

As a member of Opera Queensland's 2006 and 2007 Developing Artist Programs, Kylie was the piano accompanist for many chorus and production rehearsals as well as Young Artist activities. She assisted in the musical preparation of productions of Romeo and Juliet, Die Fledermaus and Lucia di Lammermoor and was a repetiteur for the mainstage production of Hansel and Gretel. She was also the Musical Director of the company's Moving Opera! program which presented workshops in secondary schools throughout Queensland.

Kylie regularly assists with the preparation and operation of projected English titles for Opera Queensland productions. She also has extensive experience as a piano teacher and choral accompanist and works with the award-winning Brisbane Birralee Voices.
